Browsing the publication
Serving a webpage requires the hosting system to process a request, including network and device information. Essential administration uses authentication and security controls. The current configuration does not enable optional Google Analytics tracking or a public newsletter signup. Optional measurement requires a documented configuration and consent handling before activation.
Shopping links and other websites
Following a merchant link takes you to another website with its own privacy terms. An affiliate destination, when activated and clearly disclosed, may include a publisher identifier and use the merchant’s tracking system. Merino Field Guide does not need your store password, payment-card number or complete order details to explain a product.
Forms and measurement
No public email-submission service is enabled while the publisher contact destination is unconfigured. Optional outbound-link measurement requires consent and records a link identifier, page, placement and time, without contact or order details. Provider names, collection purposes and applicable controls must be added here before any additional collection is enabled.
Contact and changes
The publisher’s privacy contact route is not yet configured. It will be displayed on the contact page once tested. This notice describes the initial configuration and must be updated to reflect substantial changes to providers or data use. Do not submit sensitive information through an unconfigured or editorial channel.
